O Festival de Veneza 2023 revelou nesta terça-feira (25) sua seleção de filmes, com uma programação repleta de produções aguardadas nesta 80ª edição de um dos mais tradicionais festivais de cinema – que acontece entre 30 de agosto e 9 de setembro.
Só para se ter uma ideia, o Festival de Veneza 2023 receberá novos filmes de Bradley Cooper, Sofia Coppola, Yorgos Lanthimos, Michael Mann, Ava DuVernay, David Fincher, Woody Allen e Roman Polanski – alguns dos cineastas mais renomados em atividade.
Os filmes que estão na competição principal, disputando o Leão de Ouro (maior prêmio de Veneza), são: Bradley Cooper (Maestro), Sofia Coppola (Priscilla), Ava DuVernay (Origin), David Fincher (The Killer), Ryusuke Hamaguchi (Aku Wa Sonzai Shinai), Yorgos Lanthimos (Pobres Criaturas), Luc Besson (Dogman), Pablo Larraín (El Conde) e Michael Mann (Ferrari). O diretor Damien Chazelle (La La Land - Cantando Estações) será o presidente do júri.
